Dr Walter Tonetto was visiting Professor (Gaikokujinkoshi) at the University of Tokyo and Waseda University, Japan. Subsequently Senior Research Fellow in the School of Commerce at The University of South Australia and casual lecturer at ABFI (Asian Banking, Finance and Informatics Institute), Perbanas, Jakarta. He has owned technology companies and was the founder and CEO of one of the most successful privately held VOIP & FOIP companies in Indonesia.
Dr Tonetto was the Asian Director for Digitaltown Inc. He has been advising Asian companies in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. In 2018 he signed an agreement for the delivery of digital services with the world’s largest Muslim organization, Nahdlatul Ulama, 96 million members strong. Dr Tonetto was also Asian Director of AGT (Agency for Green Technology), Austria.
